Welcome to Calvary Kids!

Children are a gift from God! From the curious questions to the unexpected responses, it is our joy to serve and come alongside your family as we build community with the youngest of our church family each Sunday morning. Calvary's vision for the church extends to our children's ministry; in all we do and teach we aim to be God-centered, truth-driven, and gospel-loving. We look forward to partnering with your family in your child's discipleship.

 

What happens on Sunday?

To keep your little ones safe in our programs, our Children's Ministry volunteers are screened and provided with child protection training by Plan to Protect®. If you have any questions please contact Chrissy Anderson at chrissy@calvarybaptistnl.ca

Nursery (0-3yrs)

Sundays @ 11:30AM

Normally, the Nursery program runs during the service at the same time as the Jr Church classes. Volunteers will read a short Bible lesson and play with the children.  Parents may bring their children to the Nursery room after the announcement is made shortly before the sermon. Children must be signed into and out of the program. There is also a parent room available for parents of young children to use at any time during the service. 

Junior Church

(3 classes: Preschool, Primary and Elementary)

Sundays @ 11:30AM

These classes happen during the service. Children are dismissed to their classes downstairs before the sermon begins. A parent must sign their children in and out of class. Most of our class curriculum comes from Truth78 (Desiring God). Sunday School (Preschool-Gr. 6)

Sundays @ 9:30AM
 

From September to June we offer classes for all ages from 9:30 to 10:30. These classes include several options for adults, and also include a preschool, K-Gr 2 and Gr 3-6 class for the children.
